Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team in Cape Town. This role requires creating individualized learning plans, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and collaborating with parents and other professionals to ensure each student’s educational needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with general education teachers to enhance inclusion efforts.
• Monitor and evaluate student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and approaches.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed in the classroom.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a special education setting
