Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse in Durban to provide high-quality patient care. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing care plans, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal health outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
• Deliver exceptional bedside care and compassion to patients.
• Assist in the development of nursing protocols and procedures.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention activities.
• Provide advice and information to patients and their families.
• Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained and functioning.
• Support new staff during orientation and training.
• Engage in continuous professional development and education.
• Work with allied health professionals to support patient recovery.
• Carry out administrative tasks related to patient care and services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Additional qualifications in a nursing specialty preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a hospital setting

Certifications

• Infection Control Certification
