We are seeking a dedicated Pet Groomer to join our vibrant team in Bloemfontein. The ideal candidate should have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds. Your role will involve grooming, bathing, and maintaining the overall hygiene of pets.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services for a variety of dog breeds and sizes.
• Provide exceptional care and attention to each pet.
• Maintain grooming tools and equipment.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Assist in training junior grooming staff.
• Stay updated with grooming techniques and trends.
• Provide input on inventory management for grooming supplies.
• Uphold high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Pet Grooming or similar

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a grooming salon

Technical Skills

• Grooming Equipment Proficiency
• Familiarity with Breed Standards

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Empathy for Animals

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid for Pets

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in customer relationship management: Previous experience managing client relationships in a grooming setting.
• Skills in pet photography: Ability to take and edit photos of pets for social media and marketing.
