Job Description

We are actively seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth operations throughout the logistics supply chain. You will be responsible for coordinating the logistics processes, working closely with suppliers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods, and managing inventory levels effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Direct logistics operations and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Monitor logistics processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Coordinate transportation methods and manage schedules for dispatch.
  • Liaise with production and warehouse teams to fulfill demand.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare and distribute logistics reports to management.
  • Support the implementation of software solutions for logistics management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through effective logistics support.
  • Review and optimize logistics budgets for cost reduction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends to enhance logistics strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management
