Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Manufacturing Systems Analyst to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing productivity, and implementing systems that improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows and recommend solutions that align with our operational goals.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current manufacturing systems for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing waste and optimizing resources.
• Work with engineering teams to implement new technologies.
• Develop metrics for production performance and effectiveness.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the evaluation of new tools and software for manufacturing efficiency.
• Facilitate communication between production, engineering, and management teams.
• Prepare documentation and training materials for new processes.
• Support audits and compliance checks related to manufacturing procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing analysis

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)
