We are seeking a meticulous Auditor to join our dynamic team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial auditing and compliance, demonstrating exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. You will play a crucial role in evaluating financial documents, ensuring adherence to regulations, and providing insightful recommendations to improve financial integrity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits to ensure financial reporting accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
• Prepare comprehensive audit documentation and project reports.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements.
• Drive initiatives to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve audit objectives.
• Maintain professional conduct and up-to-date knowledge of auditing practices.
• Facilitate communication with stakeholders regarding audit findings.
• Support the Audit Manager in developing audit policies and procedures.
• Assist with external audits as necessary.
• Provide training and mentorship to less experienced team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Master's degree in Accounting is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of auditing experience in a corporate environment

Technical Skills

• International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Accounting Software

Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Languages

• English: Fluent
