Investment Banking Analyst

Job Description

Our Johannesburg team is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst. This role is perfect for candidates who have a strong analytical skill set and a penchant for finance. You will support senior bankers in executing critical transactions by performing financial analyses, conducting market research, and preparing presentations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine financial models and projections for client presentations.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market benchmarking to identify trends.
• Support senior management in the execution and management of transactions.
• Draft reports and materials required for client engagements and regulatory submissions.
• Participate in client calls and meetings to develop relationships and understand client needs.
• Assist in coordinating with external advisors, including legal and financial consultants.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Master's degree or MBA is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in investment banking or related fields preferred
