Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth! As part of our QA department, you'll ensure product quality through rigorous testing processes, automating tests, and collaborating closely with developers. Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement test strategies based on software requirements.
• Conduct detailed functional and non-functional tests, including usability and load testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system boundaries and requirements.
• Assure final product quality by executing end-to-end testing.
• Suggest improvements and enhancements based on testing findings.
• Document test results and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance roles

• Automated Testing

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CST)
• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Cloud Testing: Knowledge of testing in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
