We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions that promote sustainability and minimize environmental impact. This role involves working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and develop eco-friendly engineering strategies.

Responsibilities

• Work on renewable energy projects and assess feasibility.
• Prepare and review project proposals and budgets.
• Coordinate with environmental scientists and specialists.
• Participate in field investigations and data analysis.
• Assist in the development of environmental management systems.
• Evaluate contractor performance and compliance on-site.
• Provide technical support during project delivery and implementation.
• Engage with community members to promote sustainable practices.
• Participate in professional development and training.
• Analyze legislative changes and their potential impact on projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Science is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental assessments
