Job Description

As a Bookkeeper at Local Financial Solutions, you will play a crucial role in managing and recording daily financial transactions, ensuring compliance with tax laws. You’ll be responsible for preparing financial reports, managing invoices, and helping to ensure the financial health of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in appropriate ledgers.
• Generate financial reports for management decision-making.
• Process payments and maintain accounts payable records.
• Conduct monthly reconciliations of bank statements.
• Assist in preparing tax returns and ensure timely submission.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Review and improve existing bookkeeping processes.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations.
• Direct interaction with clients regarding their financial queries.
• Maintain a filing system for financial documentation.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Accounting or related field

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles

Technical Skills

• Tally
• Financial Reporting

Certifications

• Certificate in Bookkeeping

Languages

• English: Fluent
