Job Description

We are seeking skilled Woodworking Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery, ensuring precision and quality in all outputs. This role is vital to our production process and offers opportunities for skill development within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate woodworking machines to produce various wood products.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues.
• Record production metrics and report any issues to management.
• Assist in training new operators and provide guidance as needed.
• Keep work area clean and organized for safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with design team to implement improvements.
• Proactively identify areas for process improvement.
• Assist in the assembly of final products when necessary.
• Follow work orders and instructions accurately.

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC Machines: Experience operating CNC woodworking machinery is a plus.
• Safety Certifications: Any safety certifications related to manufacturing or woodworking.
