Accountant

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Accountant to manage financial records and taxation for our diverse client base in Cape Town. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and managing bookkeeping responsibilities. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will play a vital role in ensuring our clients' financial health.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage payroll and ensure timely delivery of payments.
• Provide tax planning services and prepare tax returns.
• Advise management on financial planning and budgeting.
• Maintain financial controls and privacy policy compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Master's degree in Finance or Accounting is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of accounting experience or more

Certifications

• Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)
