Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant to join our Pretoria team. Your responsibilities will include preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring tax compliance. You will be integral in helping our organization thrive financially.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits.
• Prepare and submit tax returns in accordance with legislation.
• Conduct variance analysis and report on discrepancies.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.
• Assist in financial planning and resource allocation.
• Facilitate meetings to discuss financial performance.
• Review and streamline accounting operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
