Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Researcher to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess a strong nursing background with experience in conducting clinical research, focusing on patient care and outcomes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and manage research projects that make a tangible impact on healthcare practices.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough literature reviews to inform research projects.
  • Create educational material based on research findings.
  • Assist in developing policies and guidelines for healthcare practices.
  • Engage with patients to understand their healthcare experiences.
  • Supervise data collection and ensure accuracy in research documentation.
  • Foster an environment of ethical research practices within the team.
  • Analyze statistical data using relevant software tools.
  • Prepare research presentations for conferences and seminars.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff for effective project management.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
  • Doctorate in Nursing or related field is highly desirable
Experience
