Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our talented team in East London. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engineering and a strong background in infrastructure projects. This role will involve designing, planning, and overseeing various civil engineering projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance project management processes and procedures.
• Create detailed engineering reports for stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
• Participate in project planning meetings and contribute to strategic decisions.
• Review technical drawings and calculations for accuracy.
• Foster relationships with municipal officials and other regulatory agencies.
• Ensure health and safety protocols are followed on job sites.
• Support quality assurance and quality control processes.
• Stay current with new laws, regulations, and technology in the civil engineering field.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of practical experience in civil engineering
