Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Investment Banker to join our Cape Town office. In this role, you will advise clients on financial strategies, conduct market analysis, and facilitate transactions for mergers and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial modeling and valuation workstreams.
• Provide comprehensive advice on capital structuring.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify potential acquisition targets based on financial metrics.
• Mentor junior analysts within the team.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of client partnerships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or Accounting
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in financial advisory or investment banking

Certifications

• CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
