We are seeking a skilled Structural Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. You will be responsible for performing detailed structural analysis and design, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices. A background in various structural materials and methods is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct computational modeling to predict structural performance and reliability.
• Work closely with local authorities to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Engage in quality assurance practices during project lifecycle.
• Prepare presentations for stakeholders to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients and project partners.
• Research and implement innovative materials and construction methods.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions on design approaches within the team.
• Monitor project budgets related to structural analysis and design tasks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• PhD in Structural Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years of experience in structural projects across various sectors

• Finite Element Analysis

Certifications

• European Engineer (Eur Ing)
• Certified Structural Engineer (CSE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
