We are seeking an Environmental Engineer passionate about tackling environmental challenges through effective design and innovative solutions. This role involves analyzing and improving environmental systems to ensure compliance with regulations and sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental reviews for projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate with environmental agencies during project development.
• Utilize software tools for environmental modeling and reporting.
• Educate clients on sustainable practices and environmental responsibility.
• Ensure that all environmental compliance files are maintained up to date.
• Assess the feasibility of renewable energy solutions for environmental projects.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on environmental practices.
• Remain current with technological advancements in environmental engineering.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification in Sustainability is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consultancy

Certifications

• Sustainable Development Professional (SDP)
• Lead Auditor for ISO 14001

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic

• Project Leadership Experience: Previous experience leading environmental projects from conception to execution.
