Job Description

We are on the hunt for a passionate Stagecraft Professor to develop and teach courses in stagecraft. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in theatre production and be keen to motivate and mentor students.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in stagecraft and related courses.
  • Guide students through hands-on learning experiences in theatre production.
  • Mentor students in their creative projects and career aspirations.
  • Manage stage productions, ensuring technical excellence and safety.
  • Provide timely assessments and constructive feedback on student work.
  • Encourage student participation in theatre-related events and competitions.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative teaching methods and materials.
  • Engage with the local arts community to enhance student opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Theatre Production or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in theatre production and stagecraft
