Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will assess our security systems, monitor for breaches, and implement security measures to protect our organization from cyber attacks. Responsibilities

• Identify and analyze security risks to the organization.
• Support the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for staff on security protocols.
• Assist in compliance with data protection regulations and standards.
• Evaluate security software and hardware solutions.
• Document security incidents and responses for future reference.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles with hands-on experience in incident response

Technical Skills

• Threat Intelligence
• Data Encryption

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in ISO 27001: Experience with implementing ISO 27001 standards.
• Experience with endpoint security solutions: Familiar with managing endpoint protection technologies.
