Job Description

We are looking for a skilled CCU Nurse to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients in the coronary care unit, monitoring vitals and administering necessary treatments.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and IV therapy as per physician orders.
  • Conduct assessments and implement care plans for critically ill patients.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and care processes.
  • Work closely with other nurses in providing continuous patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control and safety standards.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and best practices.
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures and post-operative care.
  • Evaluate patient outcomes and modify care as needed.
  • Document all activities and observations in the patient’s medical record.
  • Assist in training new nursing staff and interns.

Requirements

Education
  • Registered Nurse (RN) Qualification
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Critical Care Nursing
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a coronary care unit
