Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you'll oversee the accounts payable team and ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. Your role will include supervising daily operations, managing vendor relationships, and delivering financial reports. We're looking for someone who can lead a dedicated team and streamline our processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the accounts payable function effectively.
  • Develop training programs for team members to improve skills.
  • Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices to maintain good relationships.
  • Review month-end closing processes and ensure completeness of accounts payable.
  • Provide insights for financial forecasting based on accounts payable data.
  • Monitor cash flow related to payables and propose strategies.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team for efficient purchasing processes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for accounts payable queries.
  • Foster a culture of accuracy and accountability within the team.
  • Assist in developing financial policies related to accounts payable.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • Professional qualification in Accounting is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in accounts payable, with 3 years in a supervisory role
