Clinical Research Associate

Job Description

As a Clinical Research Associate at our Johannesburg location, you will play a crucial role in the execution of clinical trials. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate trial progress and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between the study sponsor and site personnel.
• Review and verify source documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate and schedule study-related meetings, including investigator meetings.
• Prepare and submit regulatory documents to ethics committees and regulatory authorities.
• Address and resolve issues related to patient recruitment and data collection.
• Monitor compliance with good clinical practices (GCP) and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist with the development of study materials and protocols.
• Compile and report trial data to the team and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field
• Master's degree in public health is a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in clinical monitoring or research assistant roles
