Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Aviation Safety Equipment Technician to join our dedicated team. This role involves maintaining, inspecting, and repairing aviation safety equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test equipment like fire extinguishers and emergency slides for functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot safety equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Perform repairs and maintain safety devices used in aviation.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance checks.
• Document inspection results and maintenance activities diligently.
• Provide training to aircraft crew and staff on safety procedures and equipment use.
• Research and implement new safety technologies and practices.
• Engage with other team members to improve safety equipment performance.
• Comply with all local and international aviation safety regulations.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in Aviation Safety or related field
• Additional certifications in quality control are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation safety equipment maintenance and repair.
