We're on the lookout for a skilled Machinist who is passionate about precision and quality craftsmanship. As part of our dedicated team, you will operate a variety of machines, ensuring that products meet high standards and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in both manual and CNC machining, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machining tools to produce precision components.
• Implement best practices for production efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines for wear and tear.
• Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance product designs.
• Ensure that all safety standards are met in the workshop.
• Provide feedback on machining processes and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Machinery Maintenance

Certifications

• Machining Technology Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles: Experience in implementing Lean practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Metrology tools: Proficient in using metrology tools for quality assurance.
