Job Description

We are searching for a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating cybersecurity risks, ensuring that our clients' sensitive information remains protected against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Implement security frameworks and best practices for clients.
• Review and enhance security controls and systems.
• Conduct regular audits of existing security practices.
• Act as a point of contact for all cybersecurity-related inquiries.
• Facilitate training sessions on cybersecurity awareness.
• Document and update security incidents and responses.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Compliance Frameworks

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in cloud security: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty.
• Experience with Security Operations Centers (SOCs): Experience working in or with SOCs for incident management.
