We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead our cloud initiatives in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and product teams to design and implement innovative cloud solutions that enhance business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure and ensure high availability.
• Engage with external partners for cloud services integration.
• Document cloud architecture and processes for compliance.
• Support disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Enhance the cloud services portfolio based on market needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in cloud-based solutions architecture

Technical Skills

• DevOps
• Kubernetes/Docker

Soft Skills

• Effective communication
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Google Cloud Professional Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with serverless architectures: Experience with building and deploying serverless applications.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture: Experience designing and implementing microservices-based applications.
