Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health management.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients.
  • Supervise junior nursing staff and support personnel.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development.
  • Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent)
  • Registered Nurse license from the South African Nursing Council
Experience
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting
