Job Description

As a Veterinarian at our Durban clinic, you will engage with both clients and their pets, delivering high standards of veterinary care. Your role will include performing surgeries, administering vaccinations, and providing preventive care advice.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various animal illnesses and injuries.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Work with clients to develop treatment plans for their pets.
• Conduct surgeries as needed and monitor recovery.
• Educate the public about responsible pet ownership.
• Help with the clinic's marketing efforts to attract new clients.
• Mentor and guide staff in best practices for animal care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Registration with the Veterinary Council of South Africa

Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Veterinarian
