Job Description

As a pharmacist at Local Pharmacy Group in Pretoria, you will play a key role in managing patient prescriptions, providing medication counseling, and ensuring safe medication practices. Your expertise will support our mission to deliver exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations in conjunction with pharmacy staff.
• Provide drug information and expertise to healthcare professionals.
• Implement medication therapy management programs.
• Support health initiatives and vaccination programs within the community.
• Review and update pharmacy policies and procedures as necessary.
• Assist in resolving patient complaints and improving customer satisfaction.
• Utilize pharmacy software for record keeping and inventory management.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote pharmacy services.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PhD in Pharmacy or related field is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a community pharmacy preferred

• English: Fluent
