Job Description

As a Structural Engineer in our firm, you will bring structural designs to reality. Your role includes analyzing design specifications, preparing detailed reports, and coordinating with the construction teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems for buildings and other structures.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Collaborate closely with architects and contractors during the design and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
• Conduct structural surveys and assessments of existing structures.
• Utilize engineering software for design and analysis such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Advise on the selection of materials and structural solutions.
• Review and approve design modifications as necessary.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss project scope and deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns.
• Develop project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM concepts: Knowledge of Building Information Modeling processes and tools.
• Experience in project management: Prior experience in managing engineering projects is an advantage.
