Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans, including scopes and timelines.
  • Facilitate communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Oversee budget management and forecasting.
  • Ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
  • Document any changes in project scope and manage approvals.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct site meetings with staff and clients to discuss progress.
  • Review project schedules and adjust as necessary.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and new hires.
  • Implement best practices for project management and reporting.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in large-scale construction management
