Job Description

Join our health organization as a Public Health Specialist where you will engage in health promotion activities, spearheading projects that aim to address disease prevention, health education, and community engagement. You will work towards enhancing the overall wellbeing of the populations we serve.

Responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives aimed at disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Collect and analyze health data to inform community health strategies.
  • Engage with community leaders to foster partnerships for health improvement.
  • Evaluate public health programs through metrics and community feedback.
  • Educate the community about various health topics, promoting healthy lifestyle choices.
  • Prepare and manage grant applications for funding health initiatives.
  • Collaborate with governmental and non-governmental organizations on health-related activities.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related field
  • PhD is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health or health education
