Job Description

As a Tissue Inserter, you will play a crucial role in surgical procedures, ensuring that tissue grafts and implants are inserted safely and accurately. This position demands a deep understanding of human anatomy, surgical techniques, and strict adherence to sterile protocols to facilitate optimal patient recovery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical tools efficiently for procedures.
• Review patient medical histories to choose correct tissue grafts or implants.
• Work in tandem with surgical teams for effective operation planning.
• Deliver anesthesia as necessary for patient comfort.
• Carry out tissue insertion with utmost precision.
• Observe patient conditions throughout surgery and in recovery, communicating any issues.
• Document all procedures meticulously and keep track of tissue inventory.
• Uphold cleanliness and infection control in operating rooms.
• Engage in ongoing training and education to improve surgical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of a recognized diploma or degree in Surgical Technology or a related field
• Valid professional certification as a Surgical Technologist or relevant qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or tissue-related role
