Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality veterinary care, assisting veterinarians with treatments, and providing exceptional service to pet owners.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to animals post-surgery or during treatment.
• Assist in handling and restraining animals during exams.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes to the veterinarian.
• Help manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain client communication regarding pet health and treatment plans.
• Keep records of patient history and treatments administered.
• Participate in community outreach events to educate pet owners.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Veterinary Technology or equivalent qualification

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a veterinary setting

Technical Skills

• Animal Handling
• Diagnostic Testing

Certifications

• Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
