Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Dentist to enhance our team at HealthFirst Dental Clinic. The role involves providing comprehensive dental services, performing examinations, diagnoses, and treatments while maintaining a focus on patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat dental issues, including cavities and gum disease
• Design dental restoration plans based on individual patient needs
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and dental regulations
• Offer preventive and cosmetic dental services
• Monitor and evaluate patient care outcomes
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior dental staff
• Engage in continuous learning through professional courses and networking
• Address patient concerns and explain treatment options thoroughly
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinic
• Support patient education efforts through workshops and seminars

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery (BDS)
• MD or additional certifications in specialized dentistry are an asset

Experience

• 3-7 years of dental practice experience preferred

• Pediatric Dentistry

Certifications

• Current Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
• Basic Life Support Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational
