Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Durban team. The ideal candidate will monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents, ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of our data. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security policies and improve our security posture.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations of security breaches.
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of security measures and recommend enhancements.
• Maintain documentation of security policies and procedures.
• Act as a liaison between cybersecurity and other departments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or relevant field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles or IT security
