Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will work on the development, testing, and certification of avionics systems. You will collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to enhance aircraft safety and performance through innovative avionics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement new avionics technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Work closely with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Participate in design reviews and risk assessments for avionics projects.
• Train personnel on the operation and maintenance of avionics systems.
• Evaluate suppliers and assist in the selection of avionics components.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements in avionics engineering.
• Develop and execute test plans for avionics validation.
• Contribute to project budgeting and resource planning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in aviation or aerospace systems
