Academic Interventionist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Academic Interventionist to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to offer tailored academic support for students who are experiencing challenges in their learning journey.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored learning plans for each student requiring support.
• Facilitate workshops to improve study skills across various age groups.
• Continuously assess and adapt teaching strategies based on individual student needs.
• Work with teachers to integrate support strategies into classroom settings.
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and meetings with stakeholders.
• Monitor the implementation of intervention strategies and provide feedback.
• Engage with families to build a support network for students.
• Attend regular team meetings to share insights and progress.
• Ensure compliance with educational standards and requirements.
• Stay abreast of educational research to inform practice.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in a teaching or support role within an educational setting.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of various teaching methods and strategies

Certifications

• Certification in Academic Intervention or related area preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
