Job Description

As an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, you will be tasked with detecting, identifying, and disposing of explosive devices. This role demands exceptional technical skills and physical fitness to ensure the safety of all personnel involved.

Responsibilities

• Safely and effectively dispose of explosive ordnance, including bombs, landmines, and other hazardous materials.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement robust safety protocols.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations involving explosive devices.
• Perform technical diagnostics and render safe explosive devices using specialized tools and equipment.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and agencies for seamless operations.
• Provide guidance and training to team members and other relevant personnel.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all operations.
• Keep updated with the latest techniques and tools in explosive ordnance disposal.
• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist in developing training programs for new recruits.

Requirements

Education

• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of specialized training in explosive ordnance disposal from a recognized institution
• Valid Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician certification

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in explosive ordnance disposal or related field.

Technical Skills

Languages
