Job Description

The Straw Boss will manage all production activities related to straw products on the farm. This role involves supervising a team, ensuring production targets are met, and maintaining quality standards across all processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead production efforts for straw products and ensure quality output.
• Supervise and mentor production workers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Analyze production data to improve processes.
• Manage relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and present production reports to management.
• Conduct regular safety inspections.
• Implement cost-saving measures and budget adherence.
• Train employees on best practices and operational procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Science or relevant field
• Master's Degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience in production management
