We are looking for an experienced Actuary to join our Pretoria office. This is an opportunity for a skilled statistician with a keen eye for detail to analyze complex data sets, forecast future trends, and provide clients with actionable recommendations that would help optimize their financial strategies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct statistical analysis to quantify risk and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide insights on economic and demographic trends that may impact financial outcomes.
• Lead projects and give presentations to top management and stakeholders.
• Assess the implications of various financial strategies through comprehensive modeling.
• Review and enhance existing models to improve accuracy and performance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics
• Fellowship status with a recognized actuarial society is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in actuarial analysis or related field
