UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a talented UX/UI Designer to join our Johannesburg team. This role requires a keen eye for aesthetics and a passion for improving user experience through design. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design capabilities and user-centered projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct A/B testing to evaluate design effectiveness.
• Lead design brainstorming sessions with the team.
• Create visual assets for marketing and product materials.
• Facilitate design critiques to ensure quality and coherence.
• Document design processes and guidelines for future reference.
• Promote a user-centered culture within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or Interactive Media
• Additional certifications in UX/UI design are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a related design role

• InVision

Certifications

• UX Certification by Nielsen Norman Group

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Agile methodologies: Familiarity with Agile processes and working in scrum teams.
• Familiarity with front-end development: Basic understanding of front-end coding can be a plus.
