We are seeking a proactive IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team in East London. In this role, you'll provide essential technical assistance and support to our users while maintaining IT infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Address and resolve technical support requests quickly and efficiently.
• Install operating systems and application software.
• Conduct routine checks on network services and security.
• Provide guidance on software purchases and upgrades.
• Assist in onboarding new employees with IT equipment setup.
• Collaborate with team members on IT projects.
• Monitor and maintain IT equipment inventory.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
• Assist in training sessions for new technology implementations.
• Actively participate in departmental meetings.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of relevant work experience in IT support

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
