As a Structural Engineer based in Pretoria, you will be involved in all phases of structural projects, from design to execution. Responsibilities

• Design and analyze new and existing structures.
• Collaborate closely with the construction team to implement designs.
• Conduct risk assessments to predict potential issues.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance as needed.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in engineering practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years experience in relevant structural projects

Technical Skills

• Revit
• SAP2000

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Structural Engineering Certification Board (SECB)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Sustainable Design Practices: Familiarity with green building principles and sustainable practices.
• Proficiency in Project Management Software: Experience with software tools for project tracking and management.
