Job Description

An Embroidery Designer is responsible for creating and designing embroidered patterns, logos, and designs for various textile products. They leverage their creative skills and knowledge of embroidery techniques to produce high-quality designs that meet client specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain various embroidery patterns, ensuring a high level of quality and creativity.
• Create detailed specifications for design progress, including dimensions and color codes.
• Work in collaboration with production staff to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Review and analyze finished products to ensure alignment with original design concepts and client expectations.
• Document all design processes and updates for internal reference and future projects.
• Keep abreast of new trends in embroidery technology and design.
• Participate in client meetings to discuss design proposals and incorporate feedback.
• Mentor junior designers in embroidery techniques and creative process.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or related field

Experience

• Experience in creating designs for specific industries such as fashion, home decor, or promotional products.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of various embroidery stitches
• Understanding of Color Theory
