We are seeking a knowledgeable Cloud Solutions Architect to spearhead our cloud initiatives in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in cloud technologies to design and implement robust solutions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to innovate and provide cloud-based services that meet our clients’ unique requirements.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement cloud solutions that drive business value.
• Work with cross-functional teams to manage projects from conception to execution.
• Ensure data security and compliance in the cloud.
• Advocate for best practices in DevOps and cloud management.
• Facilitate training workshops on cloud solutions for team members.
• Monitor and report on cloud solution performance metrics.
• Stay updated with emerging cloud technologies and trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud computing and DevOps

Technical Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Collaboration

Certifications

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with security best practices: Understanding of security measures in cloud environments.
• Experience with Node.js: Knowledge of server-side development with Node.js.
