Interior Designer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for an innovative and creative Interior Designer to join our talented team in Cape Town. The chosen candidate will have a profound passion for design and a strong command of both aesthetics and functionality. This role entails working collaboratively with clients to create personalized spaces that reflect their unique tastes while adhering to practical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design residential and commercial spaces.
• Create detailed plans, drawings, and layouts for design projects.
• Select furniture, fixtures, and materials in accordance with clients’ preferences and budget.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure designs are executed as intended.
• Conduct on-site assessments to gather information on dimensions, materials and existing decor.
• Present design concepts and ideas through sketches and mood boards.
• Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations while finalizing designs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture or related field
• Master's degree in Interior Design is a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in project-based design work

• Adobe Creative Suite
