Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team in Johannesburg. This role involves providing therapeutic services to clients facing a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' mental health needs and formulate treatment goals.
• Implement group therapy sessions to enhance community support.
• Guide clients in developing actionable plans for recovery.
• Collaborate with external agencies for holistic care.
• Provide emergency interventions as needed.
• Utilize feedback from clients to improve therapy effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Counseling Psychology or related field

Experience

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting

• Professional Counselor License
