Veterinary Surgeon

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our passionate team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical care to a variety of animals, as well as ensuring excellent client communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat various medical conditions in animals.
• Perform routine check-ups and health screenings.
• Provide surgical services, including spaying and neutering.
• Offer guidance on nutrition and grooming for pets.
• Engage in client education and support for pet health.
• Work closely with a team of veterinary professionals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual animals.
• Assist in the management of the veterinary practice as required.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and their pets.
• Participate in community outreach programs promoting animal health.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
• Additional qualifications in specialized areas preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in veterinary practice
